First time I am doing a proper animation. After playing with
tools and knowing what each tool does and being familiar not only with basic
tools but also the software now I can easily work and create something using
simple tools and something advance by converting and doing some changes. Which I
could not before as I was unfamiliar with software and everything was new to
me. didn’t know what will happen if use
this but now I know which is quite helpful and useful now. I make using my own knowledge
not by just randomly clicking and hoping something good to come out of this.
When I first time starting importing scenes I faced several problems firstly it
was not importing as some files were missing than after 4th try it was a
success I quickly saved so that I do not face the same problem again in the
future especially when I am at the peak of my final project. Than I have to set
up the scene and match my idea and my animation and should not only match but
blend and looks good which takes time. I had to set scene again and again until
it matched my animation and my idea it took a lot of my time but was worth it
as it looked and I was satisfied by it the main goal was good outcome and
product and even if I had to spend it was for good and I am happy with my work
and that’s what it all matters. I saved with each processing step as I faced a
problem last time as I did not saved and when it crashed I had to do it from scratch
so this time I saved and also saved on hard disk so my work is save even if it
gets crashed I have so I can continue no need to start from start. The most
time consuming was unwrapping I have to do it in photoshop with precisely so it
fit and to the scale it with top and bottom not to mention the separate parts
each and then import and add the texture it was very time consuming and a bit tedious
I know unwrapping takes lot of time but if you look at it is the most important
part if you remove it takes away all the
fun as because of it your model gets a realistic look. But in the end, it
looked good and all of it payed off. Now comes the camera and lights if you
have no knowledge of lights and camera your work will be very difficult as
without this knowledge you won’t make your animation better as lights and
camera helps enhance your animation. The fun part was the editing part which I liked
the most as in this you can add titles music it felt like creating a very own
movie scene and that too from your animation so it was indeed good. When you
work for so long and see the product and your animation with music titles it
feels so good from inside like a success that you have achieved
